Historic Market Town

Just 5 minutes drive from The Unruly Pig

Woodbridge has long been a town connected to the water. At the edge of the river Deben you’ll find the beautiful Tide Mill, one of the oldest working tide mills in the country, doubling as a living museum full of interactive exhibits. Woodbridge also holds an annual seafood festival known as the Woodbridge Shuck, during which the town goes seafood mad, with all the eateries serving themed menus and putting on special seafood events.

When you visit Woodbridge you’ll find the historic Market Hill at the centre of the town, a bustling street of boutique and international shops and the location of Woodbridge’s popular vintage markets.

Woodbridge has some charming architecture, from traditional waterfront buildings clad in wooden slats to medieval timber-framed houses.
