How it works
Do all people dining have to choose the same menu?
Not at all. You can mix and match menus, just not dishes. Order from any of our menus. So if you are a couple and would like to order from different menus then that’s fine, go ahead. Add the menus to your basket, also remember to add any optional sides and wine as required. No substitutes available. Please be aware if you are ordering different menus cooking times may vary so you’ll have to balance cooking times and adjust to suit.
Can you cater for food allergies and intolerances?
All of our dishes are annotated with which allergens they contain. On certain dishes, we may be able to adapt these for gluten free, dairy free or vegan requirements. These dishes will also be annotated (for example, available GF). Please use the notes section to write clearly what you require to be gluten free, dairy free or vegan and we will adapt the dishes for you wherever possible. As all of the 14 allergens are used extensively in our kitchen, we cannot guarantee the total absence of any allergen. Can we mix and match dishes from different menus?
You can mix and match menus but not dishes.
Do you deliver?
We offer delivery free of charge within a 15 mile radius, providing there is a minimum spend of £60. Orders under £60 will incur a delivery charge of £5 per order.
How will deliveries work?
We offer deliveries at the following days and times: Friday and Saturday between 12pm and 5pm. Our online ordering system offers slots by the hour. We will do our very best to deliver in your preferred slot, but if there are any issues we will be in contact as soon as possible to arrange a different time on the same day.
Deliveries will be made contactless. Drivers will wear gloves at all times. We will leave the delivery on the doorstep and call you from the car to let you know that we have made the delivery.
What about holiday home deliveries?
If we are delivering before you have arrived, we will leave the meals in the fridge and any instructions in an obvious place on the kitchen worktop. We will temperature check the food before we leave.
Does the menu stay the same each week?
Our menus will change periodically.
Will I come into contact with anyone on collection?
Our Click & Collect set up means that you will not be required to leave your car, observing social distancing. Just call (01394) 460310 when you are in the car park and give us details of your vehicle. We will leave it two metres away from your car.
Where do we collect from?
Collection will be directly from The Unruly Pig on from 8th July at the following times:
Monday – Thursday 12pm – 2.30pm / 6pm – 9pm
Friday 12pm – 2.30pm / 6pm – 9.30pm
Saturday 12pm – 3pm / 5pm – 9.30pm
Sunday 12pm – 8pm
Time slots are available every 15 minutes and you can book these online or over the phone. If a time slot is not available, this means we are fully booked at that time and you will need to choose an alternative slot.
When do I need to place by order by?
For any Be Unruly at Home hampers or packages for delivery or collection, we kindly ask that we receive all orders by Wednesday at 10am.
How long will the food last for?
Dishes are designed to be eaten on the day of purchase. If you are not cooking the dishes immediately, once arriving home, please store in the fridge until you are ready to start preparing your meal.
What cooking equipment will I need?
Your meal will be fully prepared by our Chefs to give you complete enjoyment whilst having done all the hard work for you and trying to keep the experience as relaxing as possible. All required would be an oven, microwave or stove top.
Is there a wine list?
We have hand-selected some optional wine to complement our menus which you can select and add onto your order at the time of purchase or separately.
Can I order via email or phone?
Orders are via phone or our website. Date availability is shown on the order page and enables you to book in advance if necessary. Please be aware that dates are likely to be popular and advance booking is recommended.
How will it come served?
Individual items will come in their own packaging allowing you to heat as per our instructions. You’ll need to plate up as desired – feel free to be creative!
Where do I find details of re-heating instructions?
We will include a set of instructions in your delivery bag.
How do we pay?
Our online order system is fully secure for online payments via debit or credit card. We can also take payments over the phone. Payment must be made online to complete your order. You will receive an order confirmation straightaway via email. If you do not receive this please contact us. Always check your junk/spam folder first.
What if I received the wrong items or something is missing?
Service is our main priority and each order is checked by our kitchen before it leaves the premises. If however, something has been omitted or a wrong item has been delivered, please contact us and we’ll do our best to rectify immediately.
